Description:
Nokia 5110 is a graphic LCD that was used on old Nokia GSM cell phones introduced in 1998. These LCDs are still used today by hobbiest and thinkerers alike.

This Graphic LCD is 84×48 pixels with diagonal viewing area of about 1.5 inches. You could use this to display text, graphic and bitmaps. The display comes with a built in white LED backlight.

The 5110 LCD uses the popular PCD8544 driver from philips semiconductor which is the same as the controller used on Nokia 3310 LCD. It requires 2.7 to 3.3v and can be driven by any microcontroller using Serial Peripheral Interface.
