Description
DESCRIPTION:
When the IR Obstacle Sensor detects an obstacle, the green indicator on board lights up, giving a low-level output signal in the OUT pin. The module detects distance of 2 – 30cm, with a detection angle of 35°. Detection distance can be adjusted with the on board potentiometer.
The IR Obstacle Sensor uses active infrared sensors to detect the reflected beam, and is dependent on the shape of the reflected target. The least effective colour is black, and most effective is white.
